Calling all stationary designers, wedding planners, photobooth operators, amazing cake makers, dress stitchers and purveyors of vintage finery. The East Dulwich Wedding Fair is a showcase for local, creative wedding businesses.
Targeted at stylish, creative and discerning couples in East Dulwich and the rest of South East London, the fair is designed to put brides to be who are dillusioned with the big shows in touch with local suppliers to make their weddings unique.
Set around the bustling hub of Lordship Lane, we are hoping to attract couples who actively want to use suppliers based in the neighbourhood. The first fair is going to be simple and take the format of a not for profit show to help provide a show case for small, creative businesses in the area.
Potential exhibitors would need to broadly fit with the ethos of the fair; should be creative, should provide something new and exciting and also have some sustainable, eco friendly ideals.
We are currently looking for a venue and a date with the aim of launching something for Spring 2013. Run by local photographer Ellie Gillard, the marketing scheme is going to be online, and local, with a poster and flying campaign targeting relevant venues in SE London.
